That moment when you know its over.
I saw a hip hop documentary last night….it said a written can be a freestyle, but just on paper. It happens in that instant. As you’re writing it things just pop into your head.
Some people are good at freestyle.
Some people are good at freestyling on paper.
Some people write great songs, but can’t freestyle for shit.
Some people write great stuff, but can’t spit/flow.
Some people are great battle rap freestylers, but it doesn’t translate well to song format.
How do I view myself? I love pen and pad tactics. I can freestyle but I have to be in the “zone” or pumped up. I’m awful at writing choruses for my raps lol. I think Ive finally found my flow. I also found my rap name!
Names: very important in the world of hip-hop. It has to be a representative of your persona.
What’s mine?
Santaria.
Backround on it: Its a gamer handle I’ve used for a long time. The name is a misspelling of song Santeria by Sublime. Its the song I was listening to when I had to pick my gamer name. Plus its cool as fuck, and I hope people remember Bradley from Sublime.
I’ve been Santaria since 2004.
I am Santaria, no voodoo.
